From Matter to Language

On May 14, the Paola Lenti Los Angeles by Robina Benson Design House showroom hosted From Matter to Language, an exclusive event conceived to introduce design and architecture professionals to Paola Lenti’s rich chromatic and material heritage.

The dialogue between matter, colour and design takes shape through Sikelia, an installation featuring a special selection of Sciara walls. Created in collaboration with Marella Ferrera — a Sicilian artist whose journey began in haute couture before moving into architecture in 2015, following her encounter with Paola Lenti — these surfaces give voice to volcanic landscapes and the power of nature, becoming both architectural and narrative elements.

The event also marked the first international presentation, following its debut during Milano Design Week 2026, of the 44 colour families composing the Paola Lenti Chromatic Alphabet: a tangible design tool developed by the company to support architects and interior designers, capable of conveying the entire Paola Lenti universe at a glance.

With great enthusiasm and satisfaction, Robina Benson described From Matter to Language as an event that welcomed an extraordinary participation of architects, design studios and developers, who had the opportunity to explore firsthand the company’s material and chromatic vocabulary, immediately grasping its distinctive identity also thanks to the valuable guidance of Anna Lenti, the company’s CEO.

We thank Paola Lenti Los Angeles by Robina Benson for this unique occasion and for contributing to the dissemination of our unmistakable design culture.
