The virtue in vice

New York, November 2017. The hammock Farniente, the new outdoor piece designed for Paola Lenti by Bestetti Associati and premiered during the last Fuorisalone in Milan, is one of the products exposed until 25 March 2018 at the Cooper Hewitt Museum in New York.
The exposition, titled The Virtue in Vice, intends to examine the seven deadly sins through design objects that over the centuries have amplified the pleasure of indulging towards luxury, envying beauty and being proud of possession. The products on display are craftsmanship masterpieces; their sensuous forms, made of refined and luxurious materials, have turned vice into virtue.
