In the palace courtyard, the landscape gradually reveals itself as a harmonious composition of living settings, shaped by a rich palette of green tones. From March 11 to 15, visitors discovered the distinctive colours and exclusive fabrics of seating, rugs, complements, and accessories presented by Paola Lenti across three outdoor islands set within a green landscape.

In the first island, shades of red unfolded across the spiral-sewn cord of the Zoe rug and the Otto pouf, the refined craftsmanship of the Strap side table top, and the exclusive outdoor materials covering the Kabà and Telar seating elements. These combinations defined an intimate and informal conversation area, in both dialogue and contrast with the light, natural tones of the Isole side tables.

Dedicated to pure relaxation, the second island featured the Naxos rug, Alma seating, Amable swivel armchairs, Otto poufs, and a Giro side table with Sciara top. Set in delicate light blue tones, the atmosphere brought together the contemporary technology of Alma’s structures with the softness and warmth of the fabrics.

Students were invited to explore the outdoor spaces of the yachts they designed as fully livable environments and to interpret them through the materials, products and design philosophy of Paola Lenti.

The jury, chaired by internationally renowned naval architect Espen Øino, awarded the project MY AISEE, which stood out for transforming outdoor spaces into elements of continuity between interior and exterior areas, while integrating the products within a coherent design vision.

The event welcomed over 200 guests and offered an important opportunity for dialogue between the new generation of designers, the nautical industry and leading figures in international yacht design.

At the same time, during the third day of Seaquip, the first edition of the event dedicated to naval components, Simona Parravicini – Senior Architect at Paola Lenti – shared the company’s perspective on outdoor furniture aboard yachts during the panel “Redefining Luxury,” promoted by Smart Interior Horizon.

SIKELIA showcases a precious collection of unique works inspired by Sicily—created by the artist between 1993 and 2000 and preserved in her historical archive at Palazzo Biscari in Catania.

The garments recount the design outcome of Marella Ferrera’s research into hemp, ceramic, copper, coloured glass, terracotta and coral—materials embroidered onto textile backings in an unconventional and artistic manner.
Marella Ferrera’s unconventional path, which began in the world of haute couture, expanded to embrace architecture in 2015 with the creation of Sciara, a project developed in collaboration with Paola Lenti. Sciara is the Sicilian term describing the volcanic deposits that form on the surface or along the flanks of lava flows.

The Sciara walls on display reflect different chromatic and compositional approaches. Each wall explores how the dimension, arrangement, and tonalities of the tiles can generate endlessly customizable surfaces, evoking the expressive force of a painted canvas.

The exhibition is an invitation to celebrate the creative dialogue between Marella Ferrera and Paola Lenti, ten years of research and experimentation on matter and colour.

“Seascaping”, the Paola Lenti project featured within the VIP Lounge, is an invitation to reflect on the beauty of seascapes and to envision a positive future for water, such a precious resource. The spaces of the VIP Lounge are defined by rugs, accessories, seating, tables, and architectural elements in shades of sky and sea, presented in various combinations of unique nuances.

The Kyo sofas with their distinctive Roseto fabric patterns, the Santorini sectional sofa arranged on the spiral-shaped Zoe outdoor rugs, Pod and Baleari lounge chairs, Giro side tables with Cristal top and Sciara coffee tables paired with Capri, Sabrina, and Telar seating, all contribute, in their careful arrangement, to creating a cohesive whole while harmoniously defining areas for different functions.

In the background, a textured, lime-washed wall – conceived by Paola Lenti and made in collaboration with Oikos – The Ecological Paint and Colour Designer Vicky Syriopoulou – adorned with Morpho tapestries, reflects the blue surface of the sea. Against this wall, the Mandala movable screens evoke imaginary coral reefs and interact with the Bruco and Zoide seating.

The partnership with Artissima reaffirms the strong bond between Paola Lenti and the world of art, supported by the brand’s ability to create unique yet highly recognizable products, some of which have been selected for the permanent collection at the Quirinale.

Hana-arashi is more than just a family of products – lamps, armchairs, poufs and baskets; it also marks the second chapter of Mottainai, a project by Paola Lenti aimed at restoring the functional and aesthetic value of production leftovers. Paola Lenti invited Oki Sato, founder of Nendo design firm, to interpret this new chapter. Sato infused new life into Maris fabric offcuts – whose structure and texture precisely informed the shape of the products – creating a collection that is vibrant yet understated, with a distinctly Japanese aesthetic.

Hana-arashi is now on display in its cultural cradle, with a setting that evokes the delicate dance of Sakura petals twirling in the wind. Visitors will pass through a captivating aerial installation of floating offcuts, made from the same material used by Nendo to craft the collection’s furnishings.

The exhibition, inaugurated by Anna Lenti, CEO of Paola Lenti, Takayuki Nozawa, CEO of Atlantic Cars, and Oki Sato, founder of Nendo, will be open to the public until November 16th.

Villaggio Italia, a project initiated by the Italian Government, encompasses all Italian excellences from technology to art, music to culture, within an area organized into exhibition pavilions.

The design exhibition “Italia Geniale,” curated by Francesco Zurlo and Carlo Martino, features innovative and noteworthy products. Among these, they selected the Sun outdoor monocoque chaise longue designed by Francesco Rota, which was also selected for the ADI Design Index 2021.

Sun is composed of a structural shell made of Diade, one of the latest materials studied and produced by Paola Lenti. Patented and recyclable, Diade consists of a polyolefin hard base, which is coupled with Maris, a signature high-tech fabric available in dozens of shades, reflecting the passion for colour that has always distinguished the company.

The exhibition will continue its two-year journey, visiting cities such as Tokyo, Darwin, Singapore, Mumbai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, and Jeddah.

Carmen Finegan, a Bogotá-educated architect residing in the United States, encountered our company some time ago, immediately being “captured” by the unmistakable style of our offerings. In a short time, the consistent and reciprocal sharing of design experiences, visions, and thoughts has transformed into a professional relationship so positive and solid as to lead to the opening, in September 2023, of a space entirely dedicated to our company.

CF Architecture + Interiors is a luminous open space spanning approximately 200 square meters, with large windows overlooking Ketchum, an American town surrounded by the spectacular mountain ranges of Idaho and very close to Sun Valley frequented by winter sports enthusiasts and celebrities alike.

Upon entering the space, guests are greeted by the light tones of the Move sofa and the Tapio side table, juxtaposed with greens and blues adorning the Kanji table, Elsie chairs, and Tweed rug. Directly opposite, the Atollo Next sofa echoes the purplish-brown colours of the Sciara and Isole side tables and the Otto pouf, softened by the natural tones of the Vespucci sofa and Samo rug: a harmonious mix between interior and exterior, passing through the natural materials of the Eres collection, which only Paola Lenti products are capable of generating. Stepping into the outdoor area, vibrant shades of pink and fuchsia animate the Cove and Sabi sofas alongside the Bistrò parasol, infusing the space with a burst of energy and vitality.

The event took place on Thursday, March 7th in Los Angeles, the sprawling American city famous worldwide for its endless beaches, perpetual sunshine, and multiethnic districts that have become symbols of the film industry, alongside Beverly Hills and Hollywood Boulevard with its Walk of Fame. And not only that. Los Angeles is in fact home to significant museums and regularly hosts cultural events. Paola Lenti Los Angeles, with its three large windows overlooking Melrose Avenue, welcomed the Milanese designer and Anna Lenti, CEO of the company, to the recently refreshed showroom.

Established in 2020 in partnership with Robina Benson Design House, Paola Lenti Los Angeles offers a surprising journey through environments distinguished by bright and vibrant colours, reflecting the youthful and sunny character of the city. The energy of its colours, from the lush green of vegetation to the deep blue of the ocean, is echoed particularly in the luminous chromatic choices that define the outdoor area. Meanwhile, in the spaces showcasing indoor collections, these colours transition into soft shades of sand and burnt earth, creating a more subdued and refined atmosphere.

The discussion was introduced and moderated by interior designer Adam Hunter – a prominent figure in Los Angeles and across the country, known for his eclectic personality and for infusing his experience in the entertainment industry into an original and dramatic style. He traced the 25 years of research, discoveries, and innovations that have brought to life a wide array of unmistakable iconic products with a cosmopolitan flair. Among these is the Linea chaise longue, which took center stage at the event in its most recent and exclusive iteration in printed felt, an original creation by Paola Lenti dating back to the 1990s. This limited edition was specially presented for this significant milestone.

It was in the commercial district of Upper Kirby in 2013 that Adrian Dueñas and Marcelo Saenz founded BeDESIGN, a space that now spans almost 2,000 square meters entirely dedicated to the finest European furniture, especially Italian designs. Atop the three floors of exhibition space, a large terrace overlooking the city played host to an event on Wednesday, March 6th, entirely dedicated to Paola Lenti and the 25-year creative partnership with Milanese designer Francesco Rota.

Patty Dominguez, Vice President of Business Development for Cosentino Americas, introduced and moderated a discussion in which Anna Lenti – CEO of the company – and Francesco Rota delved into topics of research, innovation, and the evolution of an unmistakable collection over the years. This cosmopolitan collection, comprised of iconic products transcending fleeting fashion trends, is naturally destined to become contemporary classics.

Following the discussion, BeDESIGN offered an evening of vibrant ambiance, illuminated by the soft glow of candles and the melodious tones of a saxophone: a perfect opportunity to immerse oneself in the world of Paola Lenti, especially through the latest iterations of Wave and Linea – symbols of an original design philosophy that is both mature and consistent, combining constant renewal with a steadfast commitment to its origins.

Minim Barcelona is an open and luminous exhibition space. Conceived as a neutral large box to keep the focus on the products, the store is located on the ground floor of Edificio Monitor, a post-modernist building that has represented the reference point for the diffusion of contemporary design in the city since the 1970s and is now part of the Architectural Heritage of Catalonia. Minim has embraced the legacy and tradition of this essential place in the history of design in Barcelona by promoting events linked to art, culture, design, and architecture.

The rendezvous organized on February 29th last – “Una conversación con Francesco Rota” – included an exhibition of the collections created by the designer with Paola Lenti and a talk, during which Francesco Rota unveiled to a large audience of architects and interior designers, in a friendly and informal manner, how he worked with the innovative materials developed by the company. Mentioning curiosities and anecdotes, he traced the 25 years of research, discoveries, and innovations that gave life to a long series of iconic, unmistakable products, such as Linea, Ami, Frame, Wave, Sabi, and Kiti, or the most recent Harbour, Filo, and Kiori.

The event in Barcelona was also the occasion to celebrate the 30-year entrepreneurial story of the brand with one of the seating pieces that best represents the professional understanding between Francesco Rota and Paola Lenti: the Wave chaise longue, now handwoven in Twitape, an exclusive cutting-edge technical outdoor material. A product born of the shared vision that has left an indelible mark on many of the company’s collections.

The Filo seating collection, consisting of a fixed and a swivel armchair, two- and three-seater sofas, represents an extraordinary fusion of a technological innovation and traditional craftsmanship. Its compact dimensions make it well-suited for small spaces, such as balconies and terraces.

What distinguishes the Filo series is the unique covering of the structure crafted from Twiggy, a state-of-the-art technical yarn exhibiting iridescent shades. This material is meticulously hand-wound around stainless-steel frames to create the backrests and armrests, imparting the distinctive “textile” appearance characteristic of each Paola Lenti product. The hand-weave and the array of colours available for the yarn used in the coverings of structures and cushions ensure that each Filo seat is unique and can effortlessly harmonize with any style.

The event at L’Ambiente featured an open and informal discussion inspired by carefully chosen keywords. These words shed light on distinct corporate philosophies, each contributing to personal and evocative interpretations of space, colour, and materials.

Architect Kicco Bestetti represented Paola Lenti and engaged in a dialogue with Massimo Castagna, the art director of Henge – a company that, like Paola Lenti, has made material research a defining characteristic, and Silvia Camerotto, interior designer and founder of Slow Design 44. Moderating the conversation was Andrea Bettini, a partner at the Perissinotto & Bettini Associati architecture studio, a true “business narrator” with a passion for company and people storytelling.

While the soft snow blanketed Cortina, the conversation revolved around the proposed keywords: balance, matter, colour, soul, and beauty – words that have always played a fundamental role in Paola Lenti’s vocabulary and philosophy. They also explored wellbeing, emphasizing the importance of “feeling good” in one’s living space.

The evening concluded with an aperitif in the outdoor area of the showroom, adorned with Paola Lenti’s most representative products. The space was enveloped in the magic of snow against the backdrop of the Ampezzo Dolomites, among the most beautiful and fascinating mountains in the world.

For this occasion, Paola Lenti meticulously crafted bespoke table accessories, showcasing the company’s exceptional tailoring craftsmanship and, above all, its unparalleled sense of color. Almost simultaneously, the city hosts another significant event, Design Miami, from December 6th to December 10th, drawing a substantial number of visitors.

The selection for Artissima includes two expansive sofa-platforms and two bench-style seating with zoomorphic shapes. Their vibrant surfaces evoke seagrass or whimsical, unconventional flowers. These products, straddling the line between design objects and artwork, find their perfect home in museums and exhibition venues. Named Chromodoro, Zoide, and Bruco – the names too are inspired by animal and sea organisms – will provide a relaxing retreat for Artissima’s visitors throughout the event’s three days.

Francesco Rota was invited to talk about his partnership with the company: twenty-five years of research, discoveries and innovations that gave rise to a long sequence of iconic products with an unmistakable profile, such as Linea, Ami, Frame, Wave, Sabi and Harbour, up to the more recent Filo and Kiori.

Paola Lenti starts in the indoor furniture world with the Milanese designer in 1998. Five years later, in 2003, the company officially entered the outdoor realm as well, once more with his collaboration. It is to honor these important milestones in the company’s almost thirty-year entrepreneurial history that the Vienna event will also be the perfect opportunity to unveil to the Austrian market – in a renewed guise – the two seats that represented them the most: the Linea and Wave chaises longues. The first one in an original “dress” made of printed felt from the 90s, the second, hand-woven in Twitape, an exclusive latest-generation, outdoor technical material.

Two versions of the same seating – one for indoors, the other for outdoors – results of that vision, shared between company and designer, which gifted an unmistakable mark to many of the company’s collections since the beginning.

The roof terrace, located on the top floor of the Art Nouveau building that houses the hotel, has been designed as a well-being oasis, with colours ranging from blue to turquoise to various shades of green, in harmony with the colours of the sky and nature, which Paola Lenti has always drawn inspiration from.

The space has been ideally divided into lounge “islands” delineated by Tindari rugs and made welcoming by the Kabà sofas and the hand-woven Telar armchairs, two of the company’s most appreciated outdoor products. All along the perimeter of the terrace, the Amable lounge chairs and the luminous surfaces of the Strap and Lio side tables, reflecting the Milanese sky, offer instead an ideal position for an aperitif with a view.

Designed by Spagnulo & Partners and open from 4pm to 1am for aperitifs and after-dinners, the roof terrace is entrusted to the creative cuisine of chef Claudio Sadler, who after 6pm proposes some of his classics, such as ” riso alla Milanese da passeggio ” and several signature cocktails.

Paola Lenti Wien is the result of a collaboration with Kramer und Kramer, a historical partner with a long experience in landscape design and architecture. The flagship store is located in the Palais Harrach, a baroque building strategically located in the centre of Vienna, in the so-called fashion district.

The new concept store has been designed to foster a harmonious dialogue between interior and exterior. Fil rouge is nature, with a rich selection of plants and singular trees – the Unique Trees~ – of the nursery production of Kramer und Kramer.

The spaces are spread across 750 square meters on the ground floor. The collections are displayed in the large courtyard, under the arcades, and in a covered area. The outdoor space has been divided into “oases” of various shades immersed in vegetation, in which Paola Lenti’s iconic products are flanked by furnishing accessories characterized by exclusive manual processing.

A space is reserved for the material library of Paola Lenti, where visitos can admire the wide variety of materials that make up the collections. The new location in Vienna also houses a shop dedicated to floral styling and the sale of flowers from the greenhouses of Kramer und Kramer.

The Metamorfosi collection, designed by Fernando and Humberto Campana for Paola Lenti, won the prestigious Green GOOD DESIGN® Award 2023, one of the most important international accolades given out each year to companies, products and projects that stand out for their sustainability and respect for the environment. Metamorfosi was selected by an international jury among over 180 products and projects from all over the world.

Metamorfosi is a collection of unique pieces – five seats and a tapestry – resulting from the inventive repurposing of production leftovers, such as swatches and fabric remnants that otherwise would have remained unused. A collection long coveted by the company and consistent with a concept that has always been centred towards minimising waste and the utilisation of new raw materials. The Campana brothers, who have made reuse their hallmark, have proven to be ideal collaborators in a project that blurs the line between art and design.

Morpho is one of the unique pieces in the Metamorfosi collection, designed by famous Brazilian designers Fernando and Humberto Campana and inspired by the mutations of the natural world. It is a sustainable collection of five seating pieces and a tapestry originating from the creative reuse of the company’s production remnants: offcuts, swatches, selvedges that would otherwise remain unused.

Metamorfosi reflects the company philosophy aimed at reducing waste and a more conscious use of raw materials. The elements of Morpho are composed of an upper layer of fabric and a lower layer of synthetic felt, made with fibers derived from the recycling of PET bottles from separate collection. This felt is equally 100% recyclable.

Jardín is a tribute to Clara Porset, the Cuban-born designer who lived in Mexico. Intellectually and politically engaged, she was a close collaborator of famous architect Luis Barragán.

Paola Lenti has interpreted in a contemporary key some of the furnishings – two lounge chairs and a sun bed – that Clara Porset designed for the Pierre Marqués hotel in Acapulco in 1957 and later exhibited at the XI Triennale di Milano, where they were awarded a silver medal.

The original wicker weaves have been updated with the exclusive Twiggy cord, a high performing outdoor material, which is long lasting, waterproof and 100% recyclable. The structure, once in bentwood, is now in gloss-varnished aluminum, in a colour palette coordinated with the structural weave.

The design of the Jardín collection was made possible thanks to the recovery of the original drawings of the designer and the collaboration of professor Jorge A. Vadillo Lòpez, founder and curator of Archivo Clara Porset at the Centro de Investigaciones de Diseño Industrial of the Universidad Autónoma de México (UNAM).

The Red Dot Award is one of the most important and prestigious international accolades; it is given each year by a jury of experts to products and designers that stand out for innovation and quality.

The Italian Design Day, created to promote and disseminate the excellence of Italian design throughout the world, includes every year exhibitions, seminars, meetings, and presentations of products made by experts in the field.

Paola Lenti, along with other Italian companies, was chosen as an innovative example for its ability to combine craftsmanship, sustainability, and social inclusion. A photo of the Ellissi rug will be on display at the different venues as a representative of the manual expertise that still today sets apart all of the company’s processing stages. A short video instead reveals the commitment of the brand to reducing the environmental impact and social inequalities. The video is an excerpt from the short film «What a waste to give up!» inspired by the Metamorfosi collection, a series of one-of-a-kind pieces created with leftover yarns and fabrics, that has involved unemployed migrant women in the production process to help them to become professionally independent.

Designed by Robin Rizzini for Paola Lenti, Altopiano has been awarded as one of the best products of 2022 by the jury of Stylepark, the German platform dedicated to architecture and design. Altopiano, the jury stated, has been appreciated for its refined and original design, which allows it to be used both indoors and outdoors, and for the modularity of the top and the structure, which allows for the assembly of tables in the desired length, up to 4 meters without the need for additional legs.

The table top consists of elements made of Glaze, a practical and strong material, enameled by hand in gloss, luminous colours, or in Cristal, a material composed of two sheets of extra-light transparent glass embedding a layer of fabric. Altopiano is also available with a height of 106 cm to be completed with bar stools. Round and rectangular accessory tops, meant to serve the different courses, can be fixed along the central aluminum structure, which is gloss varnished in colours matching the tops.

Inside, neutral shades were deliberately chosen, punctuated by more intense chromatic accents in order to highlight now a fabric, now a particular craftsmanship, now the detail of an accessory. Outside, a large garden created with palm trees and other local plants is the ideal surrounding to present comprehensive outdoor solutions, from modular structures designed to shelter from the sun, to sofas in technical fabrics and chaises lounges dedicated to relaxation.

On the occasion of the official opening of the Miami flagship store, the company presents, for the first time in the United States the collection Metamorfosi, a special edition of unique pieces born from the creative reuse of processing remnants produced internally and penned by Brazilian designers Fernando and Humberto Campana, whose activity has always been marked by the research for sustainable solutions with a positive social impact. A feeling shared with Paola Lenti, that in addition to restoring aesthetic dignity to leftovers, reducing waste and production of raw materials, involved in the project migrant women at risk of job exclusion, offering them a professional training to help them reach economic independence.

In collaboration with Sabrina Monte-Carlo, local official distributor of the brand, Paola Lenti has designed, as tradition dictates, the Upper Deck Lounge, the most exclusive relaxation and meeting place of the venue, and the two terraces, overlooking respectively the harbor and the Parvis Piscine. The setting hosts some of the new outdoor collection presented during the recent Fuorisalone in Milan, along with many iconic products from the brand collections, such as Orbitry armchairs and Portofino lounge chairs, specifically conceived for the yachting market.

Paola Lenti proves once again to be a reference point for indoor and outdoor furnishings in the nautical and yachting sector thanks to the consistent research on innovative high-tech materials and the exclusive craftsmanship.

The speech was expressly recorded in the showroom of the Paola Lenti Company in Meda to be shared with architects, creative talents and designers during the event held on September 8 and organized during the Design Week in Sao Paulo by Portobello, the Brazilian ceramic coatings company.

The title of this year conference is Me is We, Our Nature is Collective: hence, the expressed goal is the identification of solutions to produce in a more sustainable way and thus preserve the planet on which we all live necessarily interconnected.

Metamorfosi is an example of how design products can be created by reusing existing resources in an ethical way and with less waste of energy and raw materials. It is also a social project, because it offers a professional chance to refugee tailors, who are welcomed and trained by the company.

Production leftovers – cords, fabric remnants and offcuts – have been used to produce the spectacular “unique pieces” originated from this creative partnership; leftovers that Paola Lenti has stored over the years in a sort of memory archive, cataloging them by color, type of yarn and size, with the certainty that they would not be wasted.

A thought perfectly in tune with the themes of the event, brought to life five years ago to share ideas and to be a meeting point between professionals and the public, and that this year also sees Humberto Campana among the protagonists.

Together with Austrian partner Kramer und Kramer, Paola Lenti has designed two living areas defined by different shades of a same colour, conceived as the link between architectures, furnishings and complements.

Among the new 2022 introduction, the tops of the Giro side tables in Aurea®, a heartwood subjected to an ecological heat treatment that increases stability and longevity and the Strap side tables with top in Esmal, a contemporary reinterpretation of an ancient copper enameling technique. Some of the company’s most successful products are also exhibited in Vienna, such as  the Ami armchairs and the Sabi sofa woven with Rope, the exclusive technical yarn that has revolutionized the story of the company based in Meda.

For the setting at H.O.M.E. D.E.P.O.T., inedited shades of dark green and red were chosen in tune with the autumn colours of nature, from which Paola Lenti has always drawn inspiration for her research.

The purpose is to sensitize visitors’ to the future of public green, increasingly at risk in urban areas.The conservation and proper maintenance of trees play indeed a fundamental role in counteracting the effects of climate change and rising temperatures in the city.

The collaboration between Enea and Paola Lenti is based on shared principles of ethics and social responsibility: both have invested energy and resources for a greater sustainability and respect for the environment, convinced that only a healthy ecosystem can contribute positively to people’s quality of life.

The century-old trees chosen by Enzo Enea to set up the lounge area and inner court of Art Basel are arranged like works of art. In the shade of pine, beech and bald cypress trees, the private areas arranged by Paola Lenti with armchairs, side tables and rugs harmoniously blend with the surrounding environment thanks to the different shades of green purposely selected.

The relaxed and natural character of the “isles” conceived by Paola Lenti and the microclimate recreated thanks to the presence of trees invite to contemplation and rest. It reminds us how valuable the preservation of nature is, and the importance of sustaining the ecosystem in which we live.

The outcome is a special edition of five informal seats and a tapestry, all made by hand. Unique pieces, halfway between design and work of art that convey a universal message: use already existing resources to not waste and produce in a more ethical manner.

A close collaborator of Luis Barragán, the architect internationally recognized for his unmistakable use of colour, Clara Porset moved to Mexico during the Thirties’, where she married painter and muralist Xaviér Guerrero, a friend of Frida Khalo and Diego Rivera, thus becoming part of the country’s intellectual circles.

The new Paola Lenti Jardín collection is a tribute to a series of furnishings that the Cuban designer conceived in 1957 for the Hotel Marqués in Acapulco – an example of avant-garde architecture at that time – and later exhibited at the 11^th Triennale di Milano, where she was awarded with a silver medal.

Paola Lenti has interpreted, through her unmistakable style and a contemporary annotation, lounge chairs, sun beds and chaise longues of that historic collection, updating the materials without betraying their original spirit. The classic wicker weave has been replaced by the exclusive Twiggy high tech yarn, an enduring, waterproof, non-toxic and entirely recyclable outdoor material. The structure, once in bentwood, is today proposed in gloss varnished aluminum, more performing and longer lasting, in a colour palette matching the upholstery fabrics.

The Jardín collection is the outcome of an in-depth work of recovery of the designer’s original drawings, that Paola Lenti carried out with the precious collaboration of Professor Jorge A. Vadillo López, founder and curator of the Archivo Clara Porset at CIDI Centro de Investigaciones de Diseño Industrial of Universidad Autónoma de México (UNAM).

Drawing inspiration from the nature, Paola Lenti favours shades of green and turquoise for the selected furnishings. Sheltered from the summer sun, thanks to the weaves of the Mogambo parasol, and welcomed by the wide Float, Afra and Bask lounge chairs, visitors will be able to recover their energy between one Fuorisalone event and another, taking advantage of the relaxing effect of the colors.

The seating pieces are completed by Giro side table, with their tops in natural materials and by the essential forms and bright colours of the Strap side tables .

A sequence of movable backdrops define the spaces, creating little convivial areas, separated but not divided by the Mandala and Tubino designs in Twiggy yarn and the ceramic elements of the Bambou backdrop. On the flooring, the colourful spirals of the Zoe rugs link the different furnishings, thus completing the setting.

The whole created by Paola Lenti is coherent and harmonious and conveys a feeling of sober, elegant serenity.

The event, hosted by Cindy Allen, Interior Design Magazine’s Editor in Chief, was simultaneously streamed on Interior Design Magazines Facebook Live, as well as on Sandow’s Design TV, granting access to an audience around the world.

A prestigious jury made up of personalities from the architecture and design world has selected Ebe among over 500 products from 13 countries.

The jurists have been won over by its original seven-arm structure holding copper bowls of different sizes, hand-enameled by Alessandra Malfatti in the exclusive Paola Lenti colours. Removable and usable individually as containers, the bowls are decorated with handcraft techniques that make each one different from the other, creating differences in shades, designs and surfaces. Precisely these irregularities decree its uniqueness and make Ebe almost an artistic object.

The side table is available in three colour options: light green, dark green and red. The colour of the bowls is always coordinated to the gloss-varnished steel base.

For the harmonious configuration of the outdoor spaces, spreading over two levels, products have been selected, whose nuances are inspired by the shades of the territory, so as to establish a dialogue with the surrounding landscape.
The different green hues of the Otto poufs, the Telar lounge chairs and the Orlando sofa evoke the water that flows through the Venetian canals and the vegetation of the islands dotting the Lagoon; the white-grey of the wide Canvas sofas and the Elba chairs reminds of the pearly horizons of certain summer or autumn days. Finally, the Portofino table and the Giro side tables, with their handcrafted glazed surfaces, were purposely conceived to reflect the sky above Venice and render its magic. The Tindari rug gives continuity to the elements, with its geometric texture in technical fabric, which is reminiscent of traditional straw mats.
Thanks to the sought-after chromatic and textural balance, the furnishings selected for the setup of the terrace of Ca’ Giustinian convey harmony and elegance, while creating a spontaneous bond with the city of Venice.
